Capital Airlines has established an operational base at Shijiazhuang Airport and deployed three overnight aircraft for on-site operations. During the 2023 winter flight season, the airline will operate 17 routes connecting passengers to 19 key city destinations. These efforts focus on launching and increasing frequencies on major domestic trunk routes as well as regional  flights within the province, linking major Chinese cities such as Guangzhou, Kunming, Sanya, Haikou, Dalian, Chongqing, and Shenyang, while also extending services to smaller airports like Songyuan, Chifeng, Zhangjiakou, and Xilinhot. This move further enhances air transportation connectivity and ensures smoother access across its expanding route network. Looking ahead to 2024 and 2025, the airline plans to significantly boost its on-site capacity—introducing A330 wide-body aircraft—to deliver an even more premium travel experience for passengers.

At the event, Hebei Airport Group and Capital Airlines separately unveiled their flight routes and products, helping passengers learn about flight schedules and enjoy various attractive promotional offers.

As one of the larger Airbus-operated fleets in China, the addition of Capital Airlines' capacity further strengthens the scale of airlines based at Shijiazhuang Airport, enriches the airline network layout, enhances the airport's role as a regional aviation hub, and accelerates the development of the world-class Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei airport cluster. With this latest move, Shijiazhuang Airport now hosts four passenger-carrying base airlines—Hebei Airlines, Spring Airlines, China United Airlines, and Capital Airlines—bringing the total number of passenger aircraft stationed overnight to 29.

In the future, Shijiazhuang Airport will deepen its collaboration with Capital Airlines, further increase flight frequencies on key routes, and promote the development of "aviation + tourism" initiatives. Together, we’ll nurture a thriving aviation market ecosystem, ultimately boosting Hebei’s economic and social growth even more effectively.
